On august 2 2015 Puttur ICYM and Santyar ward of Mai De Deus church jointly organized vanamahotsav program at Santyar . program was started at 2 pm . 35 ICYM members were present. Mai de deus church asst. Fr Santhosh D'souza , church president Joe D'Souza, gramapanchayat president Mrs Geetha and ICYM president Jesna Menezes and members inaugurated the program by planting the saplings. we planted total 130 plants. Family members of Santyar ward from kids to adult participated and supported us.the program was successful.
