ICYM Puttur unit organized udhka khel-2023 on Sunday 17th September 2023 for the parishioners. The event started at 2:00 PM and lasted until 5:00 PM, packed with exciting activities and stage programs. Gracing the dais were Rev. Fr. Lawrence Mascarenhas, Director of ICYM Puttur, Fr. Lohith Ajay Mascarenhas, Asst. Director of ICYM PUTTUR, Fr. Ashwin Cardoza, ICYM Director of Mangalore Diocese, Fr. Rupesh Tauro, ICYM Director of Puttur Deanery, Fr. Stany Pinto, Campus Director of St. Philomena College, Puttur, Fr. Deepak D’sa, Head Master of Sacred Heart School, Madanthyar, Rev. Fr. Amith Rodrigues, Parish Priest of St. Rita Church, Panja, Anthony Mascarenhas, President of ICYM Puttur Deanery, Jerald Dcosta, Vice President of Mai De Deus Church, Puttur, Eveline Dsouza, Secretary of Mai De Deus Church, Puttur, Roystan Rebello, President of ICYM Puttur unit, Mavina Pinto, Secretary of ICYM Puttur unit. The inaugural ceremony was compered by Disha Mascarenhas. Prayer song was sung by the members of ICYM and YCS. Secretary Mavina Pinto extended a warm welcome to all the attendees, followed by the inspiring speech by Rev. Fr. Lawrence Mascarenhas.

After the inaugural session, variety of games were conducted according to ward wise for the parishioners. Fr. Stany Pinto conducted games with the help of the ICYM volunteers. There were series of individual and group games, creating a sense of healthy competition among the eight wards. Flashmob was performed by members of ICYM & YCS.

The games continued until 5:00 PM, after which a thrilling prize distribution ceremony took place. Joyson Dsouza announced the name of the prize winners. Shingani Ward emerged as the Overall Champion, Gundyadka Ward as the Runner-up and Mittur Ward secured 3rd place.

President Roystan Rebello expressed heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the success of the event. The program concluded on a lively note with a spirited baila dance, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a day well spent.
