To raise sponsorship to ‘Snehalaya’ – an abode for the destitutes, the ICYM Puttur Unit of Mai De Deus Church organized “Snehotsava – 2K15”. A variety entertainment programme consisting of Comedy Show, Musical Programme and Dance Bonanza along with the Church Fete on 11 Jan, 2015.
The Fancy Fete began at 4:00 pm followed by "Rasamanjari" - a Cultural potpourri at 6:30 pm. The inauguration of which took place by the lighting of the lamp from the dignitaries. Thereupon the felicitation ceremony was conducted. Then the Musical programme commenced, interspersed with the comical act plays.
Thereafter the inmates of “Snehalaya” were introduced to the audience and their story shared by the interactions done. The benefactors working for it were given recognition. The function then proceeded to showcase the stellar performances of the esteemed stars and the prevalent performers. It was followed by music, dance, plays involving fun and frolic. The programme ended on a higher note of achievement and merriment.
